An interview released today that NPR conducted with Joe Biden covered a variety of topics, but Hillary Clinton’s candidacy was obviously a hot one. He couldn’t comment directly about her email investigation since he’s the Vice President, but he was able to mount a feeble defense for her.
After praising her for her qualifications, he said, “I find it hard to believe that she would do anything intentionally wrong.”

That’s a big problem, Joe. It might even be a bigger problem that her use of a private email server was unintentional. You see, she’s not just trying to prevent herself from being charged. She’s running for the office of President of the United States. If she intentionally did something “wrong” with her actions, at least she can try to justify the choice. If it was unintentional, that speaks volumes about gross incompetence and an inability to make proper decisions. Both should be considered important qualifications when trying to become the most powerful human on the planet.
It’s Joe’s job to defend his party’s candidate, but at what point does one simply say, “She messed up, big time.” Why won’t they just admit it?
